Louisiana Sen. David Vitter calls Harry Reid an ‘idiot’ for ‘insulting’ Katrina victims

Finally, the GOP congressmen and senators are striking back at the Dems for their really stupid comments.  First Boehner says to go "f himself" and Louisisana Senator Vitter calls Senator Reid an idiot.

All I can say is it's about time they did this.  They have let the Left get away with all kinds of really outlandish accusations.  And do you know what will happen?  The Left will cower and stop the idiocy.

Louisiana Sen. David Vitter called Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid an “idiot” on Monday for saying the damage from Hurricane Katrina was “nothing in comparison” to Hurricane Sandy.

“Sadly, Harry Reid has again revealed himself to be an idiot, this time gravely insulting Gulf Coast residents,” Vitter wrote on Twitter.

I would have appreciated it more if he had said it to his face.
