As if it wasn’t involved in enough of people’s private lives, the federal government wants to regulate baptisms. Baptizing in public waters requires a special use permit, a policy recently enforced by the National Park Service.Luckily, after a few well placed letters from Congressmen, the Feds back off the requirement.
But spontaneity aside, the Park Service also requires a 48 hour advance notice of upcoming baptisms, according to Todd Starnes at Fox News.
How utterly, utterly. stupid.
